To those who know Doug (DRC on here) - who had the scrappiest, oiliest yellow M600 for many years :D - and then had (and still has) a Yellow M1000sie, will be pleased to hear he got engaged to Katie today whilst on their 3 week holiday in Australia. They are hoping to pop in to visit Lin (Phoenix) and Ade on their way through :)

Huge congrats to you both - from us both :D

thanks dudes. just getting back into the swing of things after me trip to Oz. saw lin and ade for a couple of days. we stayed in their guest suite in the back paddock! I think it's safe to say they don't regret making the move to WA. The sad news is that their bikes are almost in semi retirement now as apparantly there is nowhere to ride them! The roads are too long and too straight and are littered with low speed limits and kangaroos. They do get a runout around Barbagallo Raceway occassionally though!!

Oz was brilliant. Did they take you to the chippy in Byford? Amazing! The best chippy tea I've ever had! A definite highlight of the holiday.

Hi Doug

They took us to Kings Park with the view over the city and the swan river (the CBD)
We had dinner overlooking the city in the warm December heat and watched the sun set.

Then Ade took us on a tour of all the must see places in Perth.
