Looks like I will be using uncle bens for fuel from now on lol !

Just bagged this little beauty on fleabay. Nice genuine bike, serviced 200 miles ago and MOT'd a few days ago ! Takes me back to my power ranger suit days on my first one when I was 18 (att'!)

70+hp and 128 kilos was always going to be fun ! Been after a decent 2 stroke investment for a while. Its hopefully going to earn me more over the next few years than the pitiful interest the money was getting me in the building society !

Very nice!
I've got one of them a '94 (Lucky Strike as well) but not so tidy.
Saving it for a rainy day!?
Also a very tidy '94 ZXR 400 that I'm thinking selling.

Nice, but soooooo different to a duke! :)

Robot, I was thinking about a ZXR400 fo my first bike a few yeas ago. They were expensive if you wanted a decent one, so went for an M600 and the rest is history... :D

Think I'm getting into the little two stroke thing as tother half works on them quite a lot these days. Sat on a GP 125 yesterday, it was sooo tiny I could get feet down no probs and it was so light and made 50 bhp so fairly street worthy. Down side was it was all top end and nothing useable on the road and it would need new pistons etc after each ride out almost. It was a perfect short arses machine just wish it could be made to go on the road and I'm afraid I'd have one like a shot. The the price was a bit steep too though, think it was £27k or there abouts so lottery win, doh.

Just needs a YPVS Yam motor LOL

Got a pic of Rosies brother in the IOM Junior TT on his RVG, he's got an FZR SP 400 now with heaps of imported performance parts

Looks good Natty. You may need some bright leathers too then.

4 stroke 250's the way like my old J' plate 250 ninja and 4 cylinders too.

We're all coming out of the woodwork now with our jap shellsuits eh ??!!Bunch of turncoats lol !

Well got the RGV home and god you forget;

a) How small and light (I think they are about 130kgs?) they are (my 888 makes it look like a toy!). I wanted to to put it in the corner of the garage - so I just picked up tthe back end and swung it round - try and do that with a monster !
B) How nice they smell !

Cleaned it all up today (it got quite grubby on the trailer on the way back home from lancashire) and I think its been a great buy. Its 17 years old and still has all original fairing stickers are still there and even the plastic wallet that holds the spare fuses under the seat ! Starts at first kick and ticks over lovely ! Its got a full service history, loads of receipts and every MOT with it - quite rare for an RGV I would say !

As I suspected, one of the 'mob' in the garage didnt seem impressed - I moved the 888 and it had done a little oil wee on the floor in disgust of sharing garage space with something from the land of the rising sun !

So it will just sit there now, get the odd summer sunday run from me or my mate, get gawped at over a beer, fettled and spoilt and hopefully earn us some decent interest over the years !!!

Here are some pics.Hope you like them !

P.S Its previous owner is seriously contemplating a monster (he has a ZRX1200 and a restored 350LC) so hopefull we'll see him on here soon !!
