Not on that list, but I highly recommend a visit to...Cliff Top Cafe, Capel Le ferne, nr Folkestone..
Going there this Sunday, be warned it does not open until 10 or 10.30....

Found another couple while doing some bike training yesterday, the Lydd Airport restaurant was surprisingly good, with quite a long menu and a carvery on a Sunday, open from 8.30an seven days a week.
And amazingly, for tea only, the Kent Gliding Club, you go into a little rec.room make your own tea and leave some money in a pot. If the weather was good you'd be able to watch the gliders doing their thing.

Not sure how the Flying club would take to a bunch of us turning up though ? ? ?
The policeman I was with yesterday knew the chief instructor, hence our stop off there yesterday.
