I'm after a carbon front mudguard for my Mon* and prefer the look of the SBK style ones. Anyone know if they'll fit?

Pomp, thats just a vented 748/916/996/998 series one. I had a non vented one on my S2R until I sold it!

No mods needed rac3r

So would be correct in assuming the 748/916 fit my 2001 M600 then?

If so, one will be added to my "to-mod" list! 8)

Look carefully into which one you want because I discovered the 1098/748/749 etc ones are all slightly different in style. I'll hopefully order one this week :mand:

Did you get one in the end and if so what fitment was it?

I've noticed the back end of these is shorter than the std monster item. My only concern is the level of protection it would (or wouldn't) give the front cylinder...

Yep I got one I think it was the 1098 one, they all fit but are slightly different in style. Yep they are also short at the back and don't give much protection

Here's mine (Looks a lot better in real life):

One thing though some of the ones on ebay (like the one I bought) are carbon fibre on top and fibre glass underneath which doesn't make any difference to the looks but is slightly heavier and depends if you're picky :chuckle: (I might be ordering some in but I will know better next week)

Thanks! Not sure exactly how much but it will be slightly cheaper than the ebay ones and are full carbon. I'm going to let everyone know next week, just keep an eye on that thread
