Whats the weather like on the road to newcastle

Question. Anyone know the road conditions in Newcastle. And on route. The weather forecast do not show the reality.

The main roads are wet but clear around Thirsk / Leeming Bar area of Yorkshire, but the minor roads are slushy. It is however still snowing at the moment.

If id have thought i could have collected it for you, but ive got no gear here with me!

Thanks mate appreciate the thought. I had hoped to go yesterday but never happened again. So fed up not being able to go collect I thought I would chance slinging in the back of the astra estate.
Its a gamble I know as the weathers going to get worse this week but looks like a break tomorrow. I wont hold my breath

A1 was clear but wet today around Gateshead area, have a cunning route into estate avoiding the snow covered bank of dooooooom ;)

It was snowing properly around Cambridge yesterday afternoon, not fun but passable
