Contacting Members in the Local Area

On the subject of area reps (Well done Alan mate)...

Is there a method where we can message, or even just view, members in the same area?

I ask as I've got frustrated with inactive reps in my surrounding areas, so I want to start organising things myself next year, and an easy way to contact Manchester \ Cheshire \ Lancashire members would be handy...

Yes, it's really easy. Press Members List. Press Search Members. Then you can specify the county in which you wish to search. Then you can message away to your hearts content.

Everybody here is free to organise anything they want so you could also stick up a general message in your region if you wanted to. It's a different matter whether anyone turns up though!
