Did anyone ever come up with a good but not crazy priced pair???
Mine are rubbish and after not riding the monster for over a week due to flu my hands hurt badly today when I had to do town work.

Just a pair with good adjustment as I have tiny hands mine even on closest setting are to far away...
I have seen some for £165 but to be honest I would rather get a cheaper set of levers that work and spend money on other bits and after getting fed up with heated grips I retried Gerbrings heated gloves... xxs was still to big for me!!! but will have to do..ohh bliss..

The Bikeit ones are good. I used them on the race bikes. They are not blingy but good quality. I think they are around £30 for the pair.
Try Rich at Louigi Moto. He supplies them.

the ones I have are rubbish... stiff... hardly adjust in...

Im used to adjustable levers but crikey I am not Geoff Capes for heavens sake!!!! they are so stiff!! I will have a look at them...

I have some nice one off billet non adjustable levers on the yam.. grrrr wish I could swap em over... they looks the dogs!...my levers are all mashed up as Hector had a nasty trip down the road once ... looks like his speedo will have to be replaced as its cracking as well... groan.. it wasn't me ..

How long is this list getting... not to mention I must me old I tried heated gloves ... and I sat in the shop with a stupid grin on my face... going ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh.... and stacked cuban heels..then I will be warm and tall huh!

traktec CRG and Pazzos look lovely and eventually a yes...

Can't find the bikeit ones... I love the others but I don't want to spend over £100 on levers right this min .. id rather spend less on levers for now and buy an aftermarket clutch slave..

doing my IAM so want to get the bike so I am not in agony while riding lol

Well I just spoke to the guy he's very nice and very very knowledgeable

Turns out that they may not fit my bike because of the little clutch switch so he said I might be better off with an adj brake lever as the clutch can also be slightly adjusted. Anyone know how to get round the clutch switch?

(HC I think they should fit yours, definitely phone him up. He also does them in matte black  )

I may be missing the point - but your levers look like they are already adjustable?

Give him a ring on his mobile at the bottom of the ad, that way he can tell you which ones you need as well.

He11cat
18-12-2009, 07:55 PM
yes they are adjustable but they don't adjust in far enough!!!!.... they are the worst set of adjustables ever!!... and crappy!... I can't get them in as close as my other bikes :(

If this does'nt work its the slave and then if that doesnt help then off to garage to cry... as then the plates will need looking at ..... oh for a dry clutch!

Well good news the levers from HK are not made of cheese, in fact they are pretty blooming good. There are machining marks on the surfaces but I'd expect that from a billet part and to fair they are very fine marks. Front brake lever is on and seems very nice, can't get the clutch on at the mo as the super small grub screw that locks the actuator pin in place is stuck in the old one.
Why do Ducati make screws out of cheese? Arrgh!
