Well, unfortunatley I missed John's S2R (I did try, but wasn't first in the queue) and it seemed that no one else on the forum wanted to sell at the moment, so I got one elsewhere. Well pleased, an 07 (57) 695 in black, 2000 mile, one owner.:mand:
I'll put some better pics up on here after Crimble. Anyone got a good set of aftermarket cans kickin around the garage for a 695?

Yep, well chuffed. I had managed 6 months without a bike and then I got the fever again. I really like the look of the black 695 with the red frame. I suppose I will have to get some carbon cans and various other bits.

I was sorry not to have got John's S2R, but, to be honest, I think things have turned out for the best as I do like the traditional exhausts either side, never been quite sure about having two stacked on one side.

Next week will be in Tenerife, they have a bike meet on Sunday mornings at the Puerto Colon Marina, mainly Harleys. It's good to sit and have a coffee or a beer and watch them all go off for a ride up the mountain.
