To say there as good if not better than what you would expect to buy in a shop, very professional and a big well done to the guys who have spent alot of time and effort for the club and its members. :hail:

Just a quick word from Albie, all the calendars have now been posted!!

So watch your letterbox and leave a note on your door to politely ask your postie not to fold it in half to get it in (remember boys and girls it's A3 in size). Anyway we both hope you all like them (tough if you don't really!)

Albie
26-11-2009, 04:34 PM
Yep they all got posted at 9.30 except for Staffords  whose Im holding back now for a week.

Kidding fella yours is with all the rest and I really wouldn't do that. Poor old dear had to weigh and stick 56 post labels. Never moaned one bit.

Sorry they got theirs first but had I lived near you I would have done the same.

I am hoping they come Saturday when you will be in.

Just a few lines to say a very big thank you to everybody who's taken the time to post up about the calendar. I think both Albie and I are both delighted that it's been well received and we've raised a bit of money for the club in the bargain.

Can I also say well done to Albie for pushing this project through, hopefully the trauma of working with me hasn't put him off doing anything like this again. Also thanks go to our secret gang of proof readers who (hopefully!) checked everything through for us. But the biggest thank you goes to everyone in UKMOC, who've supported this project and provided some truly stunning and imaginative images. Hopefully it might inspire people to go out and take more great pictures next year and if someones fancies having a go at next year's design....

Anyway thanks again.

If you guys want a calendar every year then all we need is orders. We this year had very little time and worked with what we had.

Im sure we can do it again but we would prefer a bit more time to sort out.

Many thanks once again for the positive comments. Even though we know its good we like to be assured the customer satisfaction as you would expect.

Glad the last of the stragglers have finally landed, sorry for the delay, maybe Mr Postie is still catching up with his strike backlog. Natty, has yours arrived yet??

So has anyone NOT received a calendar who ordered one? If you haven't, it might be worth a quick call to your local sorting office and see if it's got stuck there. Because the envelopes were A3 in size they would have been too big to get through the door (unless you have a Kingsize letter box that is) and maybe Mr Postie forgot to leave a card. Anyway let me or Albie know if any are still AWOL. And many thanks again for all your kind words, greatly appreciated by both of us.

Be warned that we will be wanting pics in August time for getting done earlier in case more sales next time.
