That's really nice :)
You want to get some crash bungs on it though, worth their weight.

Very neat. Did you spray bodywork yourself? Footrest hangers look much better satin black. I must get round to painting ones on the trike over winter.

cheers for comment, the bikes been built on a serious budget. a mate powder coated the hangers in bin black, and a local guy painted it all for £140. really pleased with the results

As on the other site great looking bike and price for paintjob as very very good. I was quoted around £500 for my one around London.

I would love to do the tank, seat cowl, front mud-guard and front cowl for round 300 but can not find anyone.

I paid £220 for my tank, cowel and two pieced fairing.PM scapps for details. They are near canterbury in Kent and they also did his sparkley tank.

If I can get a mudguard then I could just dump my parts at a sprayer.. I am on budget as tight as Dafyds tight pvc shorts in Little Britain!!.. lol

I like the red with the black stripe!
but I am afraid would I be that tasteful NEVER!! lol

Very very nice - what are the cans if you don't mind me asking. I have bought some nice low level Sils but wondering if they look aggressive enough and have done tail chop. Yours look right.....

I've no idea what they are, I bought them damaged for next to nothing and chopped out the bad bit, and just so happened to look pretty well! They sound awesome, really deep rumble.

Thx I have saved this thread for when I am ready to do the paintjob. Will need to find a temp tank for that time.

The bike looks great. Glad more people are building bikes on a low budget and getting great looking results..... Well done.

Ps happy to pass on paint details. I am more than happy with my metal flake paint job. I can also get decals cut to order to.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but is it really a good idea to take the cam belt covers off?

i couldnt really see any major risks in doing it, there could be,but at least i get to keep an eye on belt condition. i like the mechanical look of it.

cheers for all the positive comments folks, all appreciated

Just flicking through some previous threads and came across this one.

I've been riding around for about 3 years with no covers on with no problems whatsoever.
And I'm with you Pancho. I like the mechanical look too.

Nice transformation!

Gamsa,

Bareing the belts is the way ahead, how else can you see if they are about to snap!!!!

I run the belts open myself and never had a prob, although I left the part that cover the front cylinder pulley in place, to avoid picking up any stone from the front wheel.
