Must admit electric motors are a more viable alternative for bikes then cars... but can't help feeling the noise and smell of a combustion engine is part of the experience???

You'd just need to get a sound system and make it go 'vub vub vub' :D

It is definately the beginning of a new era regarding alternative power. I see more electric bikes being produced for the public in the coming years. Its obviously the way to go, cheaper and more eco friendly. I do however see many bikers preferring the raw power of petrol along with the noise as someone already mentioned. The option of a petrol bike, will be with us for many years hopefully, and electric bikes will be an alternative rather than a replacement.
