What is this??

There is a cable terminator, with a cover on it located just under the petrol tank on the off side of my S2R... Any ideas what it is? I thought it might be a diagnostic port of some sort?

I was hoping it might be, but it is about 1 inch wide, which seems too wide for a battery charger plug??

I think it's a diagnostic plug. I'm sure I've seen something like it on mine. Easy way to check if it's an Optimate or similar lead is to trace it back. If it goes to the battery then it is a charging lead.
