My other bike is a Suzuki GT500 thats recently had excitor coil troubles, There's high speed and a low speed coils piggybacked togeather. The resistance is reading low causing a weak spark.
I've put mu spare stator in with coils that are of the correct resistance and the spark is good.
I was fancying buying some enameled wire of the correct guage and having a go at rewinding the coils myself.
Has anyone tried this?
