S4RS air filter box

I have in stock an open air filter box and am considering fitting it to my 06 plate S4RS, would this be a simple exchange? I haven't changed any of the original set up except for a stubby termignoni on the end of the cat. Dont want to risk running weak or other? Any help ?

The air lid is an easy change, not sure if it's best to run it without a DP ECU or some other checks though.

Thats a must, plus you will have to get used to the induction honk from the open air box lid.
