Rear Reflector bent!

I originally thought some Oik had bent it back for fun but it seems the rear reflector has somehow made contact with the back tyre and neatly folded itself to face forwards. There is a rub mark on the plastic face of the reflector and a mark on the centre of the tyre which suggest this is what happened but having straightened it out I cannot see how the reflector could get that close to the tyre.

Anyone else had this happen?

It is surprising how much travel there is in the rear wheel isn't it?

I took my reflector bracket off and mounted a stick on reflector one on the number plate.

Yup, I also could not find any evidence of contact with the tire, I've straightened the bracket, it had a bend in it so that the reflector was perpendicular to the floor.

It happened to me too, after I had a tail chop and was using the original black number plate bracket.
