View Full Version : Cant Believe it!!!

So I was just trawling through some of the pictures in the gallery here looking for ideas on my new project, and I found a pic of my very first Monster project during one of UKMOC very first meets. WOW!!!! I can't believe it's on here, it was taken in 2003 and still is beautiful, the amount of hours spent polishing, drilling, cutting on this were huge, let alone the cost! Check out the cans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A huge thanks to FatBloke for this, its the only picture I have of it (mine's the one on the left).

I'd love to know if anyone had any other pics, I remember a ride out to Birmingham Motorcycle Museum and another one to Stratford and can't find any pics on here of those events?

Plus does anyone know what happened to it? Would love to know!

both those bikes look good, not sure if i would like the polishing to do though!
is that going to be the inspiration for your new one? :thumbsup:

No way, it was so much hard work, if you look I even polished the rear sets, footpegs and rear brake calipers!!!! It looked incredible when it was clean and just polished but was hard work to keep it that way.

New project is very different to the last two, it will have a few similar elements, i'll cut down my standard cans and polish them, they look great IMO, so I'll do that again, but other than that it will be quite different.

Just hope it looks the part when all is said and done!

Did you come on a ride out to Poole Quay one time? Probably 2004/5. I remember there were 2 chromos there, and one was Georgio's (I think!)

I might have some photos hidden somewhere....

It was August 23rd, 2003, so only a few months after I got my monster. Take a look - there's a few pics of yours in there. If you want any of them full size, let me know.

That was the italian bike show in bristol wasnt it (superb day!) ? - ptretty sure ive got some more somewhere..
