I'm planning a Saturday night away (this weekend). I'm travelling from London, and meeting a couple of friends from the North West, so we're thinking of the Cotswolds area for a scenic ride out. :mand: The forecast seems to be improving on BBC, as it's only "light rain" now, from "Heavy rain" earlier in the week!! :mand:

Can anyone suggest routes/accommodation/places to see?

So far, I've pencilled in a B+B taken from the MCN "Bikers welcome" book in Alderton (GL20), and a few rides from http://www.bestbikingroads.com/ but a bit of local knowledge would be nice!

I did the typical romantic route with the girlfriend. It was a good one.

Thanks. Looks like a nice route, but as I’m going with just guys (no missus this weekend) I might have to leave out the “romantic” parts! :mand: :gay:

well, the weather held out, and we had a great time! Thanks to Slob for the scenic route from London to Banbury. Much better than the motorway!

Diego's route is penciled in for next time though!! :)

A few photos below. I would have taken more, but I was too busy riding so forgot! :D :o

Nice pictures - maybe worthy of an UKMOC calander shot?

Thanks Gary. I'll send the to Albie in case he's short. :look:

Was nice to ride out with another Italian bike. The guy with the (almost brand new) RSV factory had to cover his clocks with a bin bag overnight as they steam up when wet! :D
