I have managed to get wd40 onto my clutch plates.
Hence, the clutch is slipping !!!!
Can i clean them with brake cleaner or will the friction material be contaminated no matter what ?
Recommendations, please ?
Try giving them a good soaking and rinsing in brake/clutch cleaner or lighter fluid and see if it fixes it.

you could also try baking them in the oven - not too hot, to bake out the oils

Try layering them in a container with cat litter for a few days, it's very absorbent.

Meths would be a good cleaner in this case .....

I used Paraffin or petrol to clean mine up.
