This is an early post but I have to do it now as I want if possible to be able to get the accomodation to our requirements. I have tonight emailed Joris at Boskelhoeve and thanked them for everything and also asked if we can do the same again depending on WDW 2010 and MOB day 2010 if we can exclusively have the barn and maybe extra rooms in other building so we dont impose again. I should hear back in the next few days but this accomodation will become exclusive if the number of wanters come along next year. We have made a chance trip into a must do again.

Hotel for 2 nites sharing will be around 110-120 euros
channel tunnel flexi ticket is £51
our dinner on the boat was around 20 euros with drinks
our saturday meal was around 18 euros + beers
Sunday at MOB was hot dogs 2 euros drinks from 1 euro
Ice creams 2 euros
Evening meal your choice but around 12 euros + and also beer +
Monday is snack somewhere and choccys for your missus.

Fuel cost me around £40.

Looking at around £300

Hi Guys. I had a response from Joris the owner of Hotel. He's glad we all had a good time and once we know the dates of wdw and mob day I will let him know. He already had 4 booked in downstairs but hopes if we can tell him early we can have the whole unit with pleasure. He likes keeping people together and will do his best. I have emailed Mario to let me know asap with dates and I will once again take it upon myself to secure the venue for us.

don't worry about the speed thing.

Not sure where the idea that we all travel at mach5 comes from. Sure you've got people who like a blast but on all the ride outs I've been on there's people of all paces.

We go as a group and we arrive as a group, thats one of the great things about this club.

So don't be put off and come along for the ride, friendship, food and maybe the odd beer or seven, whatever takes your fancy.

Oh no put me on a straight and I have no fear.. I honestly have no speed fear
its bends infact lol I quite like fast.

I have no idea where this comes from .. its stupid.

I never had this issues when I rode daily for 5 years..

Just a stupid blip that I need to work through.... I think once my world is back in a happier place my confidence will grow again.

But no I would in no way want to mess up a nice ride and break for others ..
So I will try and work hard to get up to scratch again..
I have not had a non working holiday for years and I need to get away and as its train and bike thats ok!!

Been invited over to Germany .. they keep saying when will I be coming over!! come party with us..
well they know I have a liking for snapps!! lol..
I get so sea sick!!

I personally have found corners to be the more fun bit. I've also learnt that if you come off in a corner, the faster you come off the better, as you know less about it. Would much rather come off, as I did, at about 80 than 40, ummmm morphine.

If its confidence you're after then riding in a group is the best way. You learn from the faster ones, if they can go in at 60 I can do it at 50. And you feel better if you're safer than others. Worked for me racing.

So pack your passport and sign up. We'll see you there.

i think you'll find that the more there is the slower it will be, i'm sure that any club rides i've been on were at a steady pace. As it should be.
