Hi

I want to get a good paddock stand, and wondered what you would recommend and where I could get it from? Is there anything on ebay that is any good? (ever??!!)

The best one the official DP ones, made by FG. They have bearings in which allow the wheel to rotate without scoring the inside of the hub, and a bar to lock the wheel for removal. They are about £130 from dealers. I picked up mine on ebay for £29. Keep your eyes peeled. Do ebay search for mis-spellings (sp) such as "padock stand". That's how I got mine so cheap coz no one else found it or bid on it.

Don't forget the good old Abba Stand and adaptor kit for your bike. It works very well and is useful if you've got other bikes that need a stand as well.
