Does anyone have a 35mm SLR they no longer need?
I have just started a BTEC course in photography and will need one for part of it as we will be covering Black and White photography and developing as well as Digital stuff.
I don't really want to go out and spend loads of money on one which will only be used for a short while.

Have a look through eBay, I use my fathers old Minolta 35mm, loads around for £20 - £50 body only. You'd be surprised how much you may use it after the course, if your serious about photography an old 35mm camera is a good thing to have around!

I gave a load of really good 35mm camera gear to cancer charity shop when I moved my mum into new place that belonged to my stepfather. I knew I should have stored it.Doh !
Check charity shops Anne for a cheap camera.

Used my grandads when I completed my BTEC Art and Design - great course if you're doing the same.
Changing a film for the first time in a dark room and developing your own photographs is a wonderful experience.
here's one that ends in an hour and was used for the same purpose -

Thanks everyone.
muthaducka - the course I am doing is a BTEC L3 in Photography - I am not talented enough to do Art and Design.
I have now sourced a camera - some great guy on another website is giving me a Canon EOS 300 in return for a small donation to the charity of his choice.
