Noticed I'm scratching the seat cover getting on and off the bike and have some light scuffing to the tank. Anyone fitted the Ventureshield film ? I had it on the Steet triple and it saved the paintwork.

Short leg syndrome eh. No even my tall legs mark mine too. Lucky it buffs out with polish. Make sure you wax polish it regular and it will come off. Tank centre I got changed to carbon DP along with top. These cost around 240 the pair but you can get centre for 75ish on the Ebay.
Thought about venture shield on ohlins forks though to stop chips.

I have it on my 1100. Fitted it myself - but fiddly, but goes on great with patience.

I highly recommend it.

Yes I fitted it on the Street Triple. Made a bit of a dogs of the rear fairing. Very fiddly. The belly pan was impossible due to the whole shape being completely wrong.

There are several fitters that do this very well for about £120.00 which is around double the cost of the actual kit. The finish is perfect.

Shall get the optimate lead, ventureshield and probably a Scottoiler fitted on the first service.

I'm a Ventureshield kind of gal.

It's worth its weight in profiteroles (v important)

I agree - have used this before but needed immense patience.

I raise your profiterole one slice of vienetta!:look:

I see your Vienetta and raise your vienetta with two profiteroles and a lemon syllabub.

Oh dear...

Surely you need to select desserts that come wrapped in cling film to remain at least slightly on topic?

Indeed sir - we very do...:eyepopping:

Therefore, before anyone has the chance to shout "I say - this seems akin to a thread hi-jack" I implore you to bargain with my Vienetta in microwaveable cling film and profiteroles in tupperware.

Ha - improve on that!!! :roger:

PD - I so hope you're watching.....:dizzy:

Slice of Victoria Sponge, wrapped in cling film. Perfect for a packed lunch.

(I think Nonnie is going to have trouble wrapping her lemon syllabub in cling-film, but then again she probably finished off the wine while making it and doesn't care)

This is just making me hungry.

Can anyone tell me when the film starts?

Oh like omg, I like soooo resemble that accusation.
I raise you all of the aforementioned puddings and desserts and cakes with a cream slice, a large bun-of-the-bath and an Olde Englishe Trifle.

Oh yes.

...this is now a high stakes game.

All of the above, including the vendetta, plus raspberry palava<super>*</super> (in a bowl with cling film on top)

Palava? He had dogs did he not?

Perhaps he could have taught them to wrap with their little paws upon sight of a Monster.

So back on topic. Nicely done me. Why thanks. S'ok (sick)

Assuming you mean wrap their little paws in cling film, then yes, you're back on topic. Well done you.

Albie - we empathise...

But...

I still think the option of bringing either one's girlfriend or chocolate back from Belgialandia is possibly worthy of its own thread and vote...;)

I wouldn't go that far. Well normally I would but will refrain as its a monday. She actually offered not to come as the other boys are going the long way back home via Germany. But here it comes, tissues and that, I wanted her to come at whatever cost to see how fun it is and so I dont have to share a room with a snoring man LOL :ukm:
