I cant see it being a fast run out either, i think it will be a little stop - start with the coppers guiding the route!

However the run down and back can be a little faster! I plan on using some back roads to get there!

Sounds good. Weather permitting, I'll meet you somewhere. Will have the girlfriend on the back, and I have to fill up every 90 miles or so, so I hope I don't slow you down! :mand:

Would be good to go down with a group of monsters if anyone else fancies it...

I saw loads of monsters too, even ColchesterM600 (assuming you have a black/grey helmet with red/white detailing?) although he was riding off home by the looks of things. Were you parked close to the sea front?

Really enjoyed the run out. I was speaking to a marshal who said the unofficial number was around 4800 bikes!! :eyepopping:

I've never ridden with so many bikes before, and every bridge along the 60 mile route was full of people waving, flying banners, and generally being nice towards bikers!!

I was looking for your bike, but as we were walking along the front I heard a monster, looked up and saw a black one with yellow wheels. That’s got to have been you, but you were on your way home so no photos!

How many bikes took part?

I spoke to a marshal in Harwich who said 4,800! Not sure if that was bikes, or number of people, but I recon it must have been bikes from the turnout!!

QUOTE]

Hello,,, Yes, that would have been me then, Very blue & white M900 with the 916 front.

The Dark blue M900 with the 1098 front fairing is my boss,s bike!!!!
He has tried to get one better than me with the 1098 front,,, but refuses to put clip on bars on it (bless him) so the fairing is a bit high.
A good day out tho
Lots of bikes as usual

Apparently according to a friend who live in Chelmsford,, on the bridge over the A12 at boreham amongst all the people waving there was a police camera mounted on a tripod?... I just hope it was a forward facing one, They could not pick out one bike in 4800 anyway, hehe.

A good day for a good cause.
Cheers

haha sorry, I was two others and we were not hanging about.

a virtual wave to you now :woot:

I saw a monster with a female rider just as I was arriving at Harwich, sort of gold colour with flowers painted on the tank? with the logo DULALI, which i thought quite amusing.
quite used i think the bike was, hehe.

Anyone know who that is?
