DD regs don't allow adjustable forks.
9x6 forks are no good, they need to be Monster/SS.
I would go for a complete second hand set for anything under £100 and change the oil/seals.

So what are the specs as brake/mudguard fittings. Old style or newer. As some ss ones for £100 complete and in rochester down the road from me.
65mm caliper spacing, they're for a late model monster.

I've had to scrap a pair of adjustable Showas due to various external damage but have some of the internals left - what exactly do you need?
One of the rebound adjusters (brass) is just turning in the housing (aluminium), I figured if there was any difference between models and we could get hold of a pair of tops we could use both brass screws,
Also, on the damaged side the spring and ball bearing must be missing/displaced/damaged inside the cap since there are no adjuster clicks as the screw turns.
Would ideally like the springs too.

DD allows adjustables for the class A bikes now Slob:)
Its just class B that doesnt still.
You are right about 9** forks not fitting - as different diameters - would need machining & shimming to fit if you got these mate :)
blimey, you turn your back for a year and they change the rules.
Shpuld be plenty of non-adjustables about for sale then...

Have a word with your GP and get them to check your medication
The pills you're on for the shoulder are causing side effects :freak:
