The powder coated castings were delivered to JHP and engine builder Dave Martin started the rebuild, lightweight RS gear selector drum, RS alternator and Bucci timing belt pulleys were installed. All fasteners were replaced with titanium items.
Dave really went the extra yard on this engine to get it spot on and involved two dry assemblies. I can not thank him and John Hackett enough for the quality time they spent on this engine.

I had fabricated over 30 individual items from titanium or aluminium, each stock component was examined to determine (a) if it had to be there in the first place and (b) if it did could it be made lighter. Aluminium components were anodized by Peterborough Plating, great service on two occasions next day.

The mesh grills covering the radiator and oil cooler required the design and fabrication of a new system of mounting the rad fans.

Additional components were sourced, top yoke from Speedy Motor, handle bars and risers from ABM, Fren Tubo carbon fiber oil lines from Carpimoto.

Controls are Brembo RCS radial masters both for brake and clutch, I had wanted to fit the ISR radial masters that incorporate the reservoir to maintain a clean look, but I was let down and flat out lied to by the importer, the bike sat for three weeks waiting for them to arrive which they never did.

A 996 throttle incorporating the fast idle button has been fitted, eliminating the left hand operated fast idle lever and cable.

The front brake calipers were upgraded to Brembo M4 monblocs as fitted to the 1098.

A Electreon lightweight quick action cam was fitted to the throttle bodies.
