Hello,
I've bought some R&G Bar Ends and Frame Protectors from Riders yesterday, and before I rip the packaging open to fit them I wonder if one of you kind people might put my mind at ease that they are going to fit OK.
The Bar Ends are BE0004BK
The Frame Protectors are CP0097BL

On the IntoBikes page the frame protectors are listed as being for M620, my M695 is not listed. Are they going to fit?
http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products?detail=list&st=mn&id=695

I can't find any confirmation that the bar ends are the right ones, I can find listings that say thay are for the S4RS
http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/shop/index.php/product/productsbymake/randg/aprilia/shiver/BE0004BK.html

Can anyone who has fitted these these to their M695 recall the part numbers of the parts that they fitted? The R&G site appears to be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Thanks
M

Crash protectors are pretty universal, I got my aero style ones from ebay, and as you can see the description is very open:

Likewise bar ends tend to be pretty flexible in the fit, almost all fitting will be with a strong rubber bung that expands as you tighten the allen bolt. So long as it's not rattling around and fits reasonable well to begin with should tighten up fine.

Thanks, that's encouraging.
Will have a go at fitting them next week some time.

They are really easy and quick to do. Just get a tube of Loctite and make sure the nuts are torqued correctly unless you know your tightness skills. Make sure you put the old bolt safe somewhere too.
