hello, i have a corbin seat, but its really slippy, everytime i open the throttle i slide backwards, apart from sticking velcro on my a**, anybody got any good ideas?
Or is it because its been too polished and needs wearing in a bit, the seat that is!

thanks

i always tried to avoid polishing it. maybe like me my ar5e is too small for it. it was always ok 2 up. you just kind of counteract eventually. i got a dislike for it in the end but for carolines benefit as a pillion it was superb shape on the back.

Mmmmm, have 1 on mine too Martin. Same probs but you do get used to somewhat. As Albie says, don't polish it, no need. Bound to be some kind of non-harmful non slip goop out there we could use, but have not found it yet. Grippin wiz ze knees on gas tank before seriously twanging throttle, will improve automatically and remarkably quickly first time that you realise bike really is gonna leave you sitting in the road spectating ifn you dont. Worth it for comfort. Not ideal for hoolery perhaps though.

found it easier today with leathers on, they were grippier, i'd only been round the corner before with jeans on, the leather trousers made a lot of difference. I think the seat shape is designed for you to sit back a bit on it, but i not tall enuff.
