Hi all.

As my bike is my only vehicle (Yeah I am a hardcore biker! No dry, climate control, air condtioned nonsense for me! :D) I need some form of luggage to lug my junk around in. I have an M600 and have no idea waht to get as I have only been using a trusty backpack that decided it had enough on going down the dual carrigeway on the way to work one morning while I was riding my Yamaha. The bloody zip broke nearly spilling my lunch, chain lube and new copy of "Ride" all of the car behind's windscreen.

Looking in the manual for the beast, they talk about Ducati Paniers and such. Is this an expensive way of dooing it if I could even get hold of such an item? I need something cheap and trusty to haul the standard stuff (Clothes, junk, possibly spare helmet).

Any help would be great.

Hi and welcome. I just sold my soft saddle bags to Blueprintz yesterday. I usually use a tank bag on long trips. Its a magnetic one and bought from Aldi's for under £20. They are good bits of kit.

I've got a set of the Ducati soft panniers in the loft that i was looking to sell once i fish them out.

There's a frame type thing that bolts under the tea tray to the side pods they attach to, as long as you haven't done the dreaded tail chop and don't have high level cans they will fit.

There like these,

If your interested let me know and i will fish em out and send you a picture over.

Cheers,

Shandy

Hi shandy.
Yeah I maybe interested. I don't know what sort of money you are looking for them. My bike is standard as they come so no worries about attachments or anything like that!

Would only be looking for £50 for them as they are second hand and have a couple of marks etc (much better than the £192 i've seen them on the web new), i will drag them out of the loft later, take some pictures and put them up here.

Cheers,

Shandy

Right then found them and a few photo's below, there's a few minor scuffs on the bottom heat shield and one zip is missing the pull thingy.

I offered the frame up to mine and it looks like it fits as i said to the bottom of the tea tray bolts and rear bots of the side panels. Then the panniers velcrow to the frame and by the looks of it velcorw over the seat too. They're expandable and have and internal bag things in each.

I never fitting these to mine though, i them a couple of years back for WDW where i ended up taking the bike in van due to a recently repaired fractured wrist. Since then they've been in the loft! And i don't have any instructions either, so mystery nuts and bolts might be needed!!

As I have just bought the bike and haven't sold my other one yet (Anyone want to by a '07 Yamaha YBR125?? Kinda looks like a small monster... Oh come on use your imagination people! lol) and I have zero money.
