Kriega Group Buy

I see Kriega are in the habbit of offering Group buy discounts to other manufacturer forums. How about organising one for the UKMOC. There is a fair discount to be had.They offer the luggage at trade so long as they have at least ten items (around twenty pounds off an R35 for instance)..

If you don't already know Kriega make the best luggage specifically for bikers and offer a ten year guarantee on most things http://www.kriega.com/

I'd go for a 35, but how much for the postage on top?

It might be a mute saving if the discount only ends up as a few quid, if that is the case i might as well just pick one up!

But if the discount and postage still make the saving worthwhile it would be a 35.:thumbsup:

Thing is if we get 100 orders, (I think its just ten items to get the discount I'm after two on my own), and no one to take a lead then its going nowhere. We need someone to trust and being a newbie rules me out. Plus I have no right to represent the Forum in order to get a group discount. Shall go looking for an Admin....

Is there anything to stop you just getting going with this? I'll re read the thread but I'm not exactly sure what/if you need an admin for?...

I'd also be aware that hein Gericke often do a 20% off for purchases above £200 which would mean a better saving - if you sign up to their web offers you get a goodly amount of money off vouchers regularly - I purchased an AGV lid last month and ended up not paying for the R35 that I also bought because of the discount on the lid...

Your idea seems good to me - so I suggest you get going with a list of definite buyers and then if you need an admin to process it further then let me know but I'm not sure what being an admin can add to your organisation of the idea other than perhps using the club account to pay everything into then issue a final cheque...

There have never been rules around here for being a newbie or anything else, we generally just get on and if the ideas are good they keep happening. Good luck - top idea!

OK but as you say its the money side of things that needs sorting, how would we go about this, once I have agreed price from Kriega or HG (who dont seem to have that offer at the moment only on leathers) and a list of people do you step in to handle the finances?

Suggest you start a dedicated thread with what you're offering and asking people to sign up for definite commitment - best to agree the prices with the supplier first!!!

What has been done in the past is exactly that - the price(s) is agreed, the names and orders are noted, cheques come in to one person - and then you send them to me and I can pay them into our account and ask for one big cheque to pay the company.

Have spoken with Kriega we get (pm me for list, as per Kriega request) off RRP. There is a catch we need to put together an order of 3000 in RRP. (Actually not that much RRP stock).

Then there is shipping to be added, individual shipping depending on size to members.

I've got a Kriega 35 that's only 6 months old if anyone wants to make a a fair offer. It's as new.

Postage or collection from Manchester (near airport).

I can say that it works very well and the support is that good, it's easy to forget it's on your back.

I used it when I had commute to my evening job or went to football. It can fit my helmet and boots in there.
