Funny you should post it, I almost done so this afternoon when reading this bit:

"The first engine died at 70,000 miles and was replaced in 2004. To date the replacement engine has done 55,000 miles. Clock reads 11,000 miles after having to replace the original one which broke so total mileage is approximately 125000 miles.

*No service history* but the belts, oil and filters have been changed regularly when needed"

Jokes aside that's some serious mileage, with 13k on the clock mine seems like a newborn :woot:

My M900 has done about 22,500 in nearly 7 years. Used to commute but now it's much more of a "pleasure" monster.....I have a Buell to abuse for the daily hike to work and back...

A new clutch and that's pretty much it apart from the usual stuff and oh yes - new throttle bodies down to dubious petrol/diesel contamination that BP coughed up for.....

Wow. Yes, that chap has obviously looked after the bike at the same time as riding it a lot. To be honest, I'd be more likely to buy something well used and cared for than a bike that's been left in a garage to rot for months/years at a time, and I've seen bikes with 20% of that milage in worse nick than that.
