Hi all,

Posting in hope somone can diagnose what problem with my bike is.
Ducati 916 fitted with Meta 357T alarm and when hititng immobilizer and hit the start button get nothing - like there is no power going through.
Un-arming the immobolizer, you hear the alarm and all 4-indicators flash like normal.
Battery is fully charged and checked every fuse i can find for break.
Still no closer to why get no power, headlight/indicators do not response when ignition is set to ON and no neatrual light for the gear in the pannel.
Have flicked from 1st to neautral and into 2nd and neautral light still does not light up.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try the relays

I'll go along with the relay or a poor contact on the battery

thanks guys for responses.
checked the starter and ignition relays and both click on when battery power is connected. The voltages and resistance across the ignition relays is correct as well.
not sure what else it can be.
battery voltage is at 12.3v

alarms can often be the cause of starting problems

Possibly the battery.

My S4R was a pain to start for a while then it failed to do so altogether. All looked fine battery was at 12.4v and i was mighty confused...

However and oddly it was the battery!!!

I put a set of jump leads on it from the car and it started fine!

get your battery checked.
