had a phone call from a honda dealer last night at about 8pm. Offering me £4000 for my 2007 695, black with red frame, 1500miles, high level termi's, fly screen, crash bungs, excellent condition. Do you think its a good price?

Got £3500 for my 2006 695 and swaped it for a CBR600RR. A great deal for a great bike however, the CBR has awesome power and is much easier to ride. Very Very Very happy with my purchase

It sounds like a good deal, but what would you change it for?

Have you ridden the new Monster? - it's a very different ride to the old one, and you might want to stick with Ducati once you have tried it.

£4000 px for an 07 695 is a very good price. According to Parker's the list price on px is around £3200.

Personally I would still tell him to take a running jump (politely of course... :mand:).

Keep the 695 - it's a future classic and last of the original Monsters.

i might ring up and see if i can be cheeky and get 4.5k for it lol. And if no good ask if its 4k without the high level termi's on

Just double checked Parkers and they reckon the px price on an 07 695 is actually £2470!!!!! Absolutely shocking - definately dropped off a lot!

I paid £4k for my 695 from a central london dealer last august - with 400 miles on the clock. I cant see how he'll get his money back now bearing in mind they'll have to spend time with a mechanic checking it over/giving it a basic service etc before they sell it on, or are they that much in demand?

i think its the fact that he wants me to buy a brand new bike from his dealership.

Prob right, and still might not go through with it.
I am tempted though as id only need £3500 on 0% for 42 months which is about £84 a month...

Don't do it, you'll become anonymous whenever you park up! Do you want a classy bit of Italian exotica or a run of the mill bike that every Tom **** or Harry has?
