Hi
Ive just bought an M600...

Cant wait to get riding it. It has bar end mirrors and I'd rather have standard. Ive read that standard are rubbish but I would prefer them and see how they are. Does annyone have a good standard set that I can buy or would someone with standards want to swap with my barends??
Any advice on mirrors appreciated.

i have standard mirrors, and bar ends do give u a better view, i sat on uksurfers bike to day.

Ok Chris, thanks, I'm the same. Simons, are they the all the same? What condition are they? Dont really know mate, what do you want for them (inc p+p to sheffield) and we can start from there. Ive seen these and was tempted, not sure how much they are new from Ducati

PeteL, the mirrors are the same as in your link. They should fit all monsters, they are in excellent condition

There's nothing wrong with the standard 'mickey mouse ears' mirrors

I've got a pair off a 2000 bike...if you're interested...? I don't like the bar-end ones either...I got some pig-ear shaped ones off ebay. I found the standard ones better to be honest, but changed them cos they didn't look right with the drop bars I've fitted...

I've temporarily fitted tother halfs Vmax ones which are rectangular, they give quite a good view of the road. I was going to get bar end ones but mine don't look too bad as a stop gap.

i think standard mirrors are just fine in use - i tried diddy "streetfighhter ones and hated them (almost shat myself on each lane change on the motorway)

i replaced my round ones with the teardrop shaped ones off a later model just because they look nice AND work.

BTW - on an early monster you'll also need adapters because the bar mounts are RH thread and the mirrors are one RH and one LH.
