caught the coverage of last NW200 and was really impressed. I am gonna make a point of getting to it at somepoint. I quite enjoy the road racing thing, and it was reinforced when i went to the IOM TT.....all nutty but exciting stuff

I couldn't agree with you more. Won't be able to go but hoping to watch it at some point on the telly. I especially like "kerb cam" :chuckle:

I've been watching it all day today, well nearly all day!
It's been looping on Ch302 on freeview, so you got the 125's, 250's. supersport, you get the picture.
Saw Michael Dunlop get taken out by the rider in front on the last lap, saw the bike on fire, albeit for a few seconds, quite a few off's and as Ricky mentioned, one fatality too many!

G : )

I can recommend the trip to anyone so long as the weather holds. Each year seems to get better, but then I am a bit bias as I live less than 5 miles from the course.

If watching makes you think the riders are mad you should take a road bike round the roads at normal speeds then, as I am sure Ricky will agree, you will see that mad doesn't come close. The cromore road and station corner have a surface that I would call fair at best and the only run off is a field, but you have a fence to go through to get to it. Yet these guys and girls (yes I think there was at least one girl entered this year) hit over 200mph on this stretch. As I said mad is not the word for it.

We were there too, but as we only went at the last minute via a cheap flight & car hire I don't think we really count? :)
