Stuck belt cover bolts

This happened to my 600 also... Any idea how to get them out without cracking the rubber mount or plastic. Have black ones from last year still to put on...

if the allen bolts are rounded, use a "torx" type key. use one slightly bigger and hammer it in

they arent rounded just welded into the plastice and if i try anymore pressure, either the rubber backing or the plastic will crack :(

try soaking them in wd40 overnight

They gotta come out one way or another. Looks like the application of violence is about the only option.
Tried an impact driver??
If they're stuck to the plastic then get them hot first to break the seal or at least get the plastic runny where it's stuck together. Try not to set the bike on fire in the process though!! :flamed:

got them out and black covers are now on :) hit them quite a few times with a small socket and hammer to try a free them inside... more wd40 overnight
