I bought another Ducati today ...i was going to get a classic Brit bike but they were either too expensive or total dogs ...then a beautiful 1991 750ss came up a good price.with a pile of spares and as I have a 750 monster it will complement it perfectly and be easy to keep in shape.
Pick it up next week OH JOY now ...hope i win the lottery on Friday so i can buy a streetfighter.

As I am stuck with the Thailand S4 I have taken the bull by the horns and will sort the suspension with a new Ohlins Race spec rear shock and Hyperpro springs , got them at a bargain price from Protwins ( YES really) seems someone had ordered and not paid so it was sitting in stock and I got it for 60% of the normal price the rest of the bike engine etc is sorted ..dont know when i will have the time though as i will be in UK most of the summer now as my mum is dying and I have to take care my Dad and fit some work in.

The Ducatis will keep me sane ...Probably

I cant make Arrowmill again this year ..but all have a safe and enjoyable and sunny weekend

regards Jerry.

A man can never have too many Ducati's Jerry, as long as they don't frustrate the crap out of you they'll always keep you sane.

Having at least another similiar bike makes it a lot easier
reassembling things when forgetting how they were assembled
originally.
I would end up having to guess which screw belongs where, when
I couldn't place two bikes side by side.

I really want to fix my 620, but the 750 engine in the Monster is a blast,
no mods but feels a lot quicker.
I wonder how much better the s2r 800 is?

What's the problem with the S4?
It seems that you prefer the 750 ccm engine.

What kind of classic brit bike have you been after?

The M750 and SS750 are similar about 70% the differences are clutch, fairings, forks and suspension and frame geometry but its very similar to work on.

The S4 has had loads done to it the list is endless but the handling is Crummy compared to the 750s sure it has 50hp more being a 4valver and different character which is harsher than the 2valvers but its easy to work on but more expensive and complex ,i have £10,000 in it now and cannot sell it in thailand so I must get it perfect.,

How can i ride both the 750s in UK?

Now i have to start saving for another Ducati....ha ha ah ha ... toss up between a Streetfighter or a bevel head or a 450 single...all cost Zillions ..so I need to win the lottery or get a sugar mummy.Still want aclassic Brit as well.. but ducati seems to have infected my genetic code.
