I hope after writing this i'm still welcome on this forum, as i will a get another monster.......one day. :(

After much thought I decided to go back to another Sports Bike. I had looked at the 1098 / 1198 and 848 plus a 749. All lovelymachines but as we are still trying for a baby and looking to move house the price and running costs with servicing was too much. So i looked at the Aprillia RSV (not V4) and what a great bike. Front wheel up in nearly every gear, however, parts and service places are very few and far between. So after thinking long and hard i decided maybe i would stickl with what i had for the time being. Then at work one day my collegue pulls up on his new CBR. I had a ride and was very impressed. so i am sorry to say i have done a deal and Daisy Duke has gone and boy am i glad i looked after her, even in part exchange i have only lost £900 in 2 and half years.

However, as you guys are such a great bunch :ukm: and have made me feel so welcome since i first got the monster, i'll still be on here having a chat and meeting up with you guys, albeit having to park in the naughty corner.

Dont think so. Have had Kwaks and Gixers before the monster. I know what i'm doing. Horses for courses i suppose. I love it.

Appreciate all the comments though, they're crap comments, but thanks all the same.

watch that right hand on the throttle i went out on my "other" bike yesterday after a couple of weeks on the monster, wow i had to re calibrate to the shear brutality of a Jap 4, i love the Monster i have had a few trips with the lads on the monster and the corners are just as good its the straight line speed and acceleration where the "other" bike blows it away. The Monster has all the character i would realy struggle to choose, the best option is to have both.

-------------- Enjoy

We simply have to come to the south of France. Roads are mental. Knee down every corner !
