... who else had a great day? Mine was spent all over the Peak District for pretty much all day! Went out with a mate, him on his Honda VFR, and me on the Monster. Best ride out for quite sometime!

Went riding out round the Cotswolds, called in on a mate in Chipping Norton and gave him a try on the monster. He loved it and came back with the biggest grin I've seen on him. I think we have a convert!

Great day out there!

Not today but yesterday spent most of the day at DWR having the bike dyno'd and remapped.

Turns out each cylinder needs it's own map which can be done on the PC3 fortunately so it needs to go back next week for some more work. Anyone looking for a good dyno place really should talk to Dave Wood at DWR, he is very thorough in what he does and takes his time getting it right (my front cylinder is just about spot on on the lambda readings!!), in fact he did 16 miles on my bike on the dyno!

The best bit? The noise of a full 45mm system with open DP Titanium cans at about 7000 rpm!!!!

Fantastic!

Also had a spin on the fat fella's new CCM, what a hoot!

I was tempted to head over that way myself on yesterday. I ended towards Saddleworth and joined a few hairy bikers for a drink. They had some very nice bikes, one for £17k with a 1.7ltr engine with 200bhp (can't for the sake of me remember the model) and another harley nightster special (13k).

It hit 23degrees in Manchester yesterday. I'm off out again in about half an hour. Long may this voluntary administration last!

I spent Saturday out and about in Kent for a couple of hours on the S4R getting to know a couple of long stretch with plenty on bends, had to keep an eye out for the Rozzers though as they use the same roads for their Bike Safe runs.

Spend Sunday in Suffolk seeing the in-laws but too the Triumph Sprint with the wife on the back, had tweeked the suspension recently and it was much better. Out just north of Ipswich was packed with bikers but didn't see one monster while out all day.

Glorious

Rode over to Ducati Aylesbury yesterday with a mate (nice 748), very sunny,
half decent burger, loads of duke's and making "brisk progress" on the way back.

Saturday picking up newer car for daughter, Sunday on the back of Clives bike as mines got no MOT gutted! It's really not fair, it seems that as soon as I'm bikeless the weather gets nice, when she's up and running it's cold and miserable.

Saturday
Test driving my fathers Harley, then trying to teach him how to ride the :pd:.
I thought it's impossible, but the turning circle of it is even worse
than on my Monster.
I feel quite ashamed, but I must admit that the Harley really is a brilliant bike :look:.

Sunday
Asking forgiveness for the cheating on my own bike, sitting for 6 hours in the garage
repairing the crash damage and relocating wires to get rid of the ugly cable ties
on the frame. One of the dials on the instrument cluster was misaligned and
got fixed. Mud has been removed from the cooling fins, tons of it.
