Think my forks might be a bit too high in the yokes, as observed by slob the other day.
Workshop manual says 296mm from bottom of lower yoke to top of fork.
I have 246mm?? with 13mm showing through the top yoke.
I'm guessing this might be causing it to drop into slow/medium speed corners a bit too readily as the rear height adjuster seems about right.
Can anyone help with the proper measurements?

If you're happy with the sharper handling just leave it Andy, I'd drop mine a bit too if the Renthal bars would allow it. I had my 620 forks about the same as yours (with clip-ons)

Thanks Rob, it handles fine for me, I was wondering where Ducati got 296mm from though?
The Haynes school of fictional writing maybe.

the standard set up figure for an M900 is 280, I'd expect the M1000 to have a bigger headstock so 296 sounds about right.

Are sure you've got 246? Measured from under the bottom yoke?

Some are measured from under the yoke, some above, e.g S2R 800

Be carefull dropping the front too much, go too far and you'll get headshakes.

Mine are both set like this, will have a measure and let you know what it is in mm.

This is Ducatis drawing which would make sense if it read 236mm(+0-1).
That'd give about 3mm above the top yoke which looks about right.
Think I'll check the rear hasn't been lowered aswell then have a fiddle up front.
