I love the bike but just don't feel right on it! It feels too small and I get elbow and knee pains (but don't on my 748 so go figure!). May be replacing with a Numpty Strada as its a bit higher (subject to trying one)

Its a red/white one, 2008/57 plate, 2800 miles, serviced December 2008, pretty much immaculate, R&G crash bungs (one there when I bought it). £4,595 ono

It might be worth trying to trade it in if you are getting another Ducati - Europeans are coming over in their droves and buying from Duc dealers.

I have had a good cash offer from a dealer already though....

That looks a nice bike.

I know what you mean with the riding position, I had a Triumph Thunderbird a few years back and had to sell it for the same reason, I also had back problems.

I think the sit up and beg and upright spinal position did it for the back together with the acute hip and knee angles with respect to spine finished me off after an hour.

The sports riding position takes weight off the back and alters the knee/hip relationship. It doesn't do much for the forearms and wrists though !

That's probably why we want more than one bike or change them more often than we should.

Bets of luck with the sale.

Hi,
Truly a nice bike, well looked after!
I'm looking to buy a S2R, always been riding monster so I'm kind of ok with the riding position.
Can you give a few more details?
- Any oil leak or similar problems.
- Are you the only owner?
- Are you located in Wimborne, Dorset?
I'm interested if we can work it out on the price.
I'm looking at www.parkers.co.uk , if you could align your price to their pricing then we are in business.
I'll PM my contacts if you want to talk privately.
thanks a lot !

hi Eduardo yes I am in Wimborne Dorset.

I won't be aligning to the Parkers price as it is rubbish! If you go by their price my bike should be £3870 whereas I have been offered £4k cash by a dealer so go figure that!

Not an unreasonable price, shame I only have errrrrr about £20 in assorted coppers and a freezer full of hot cross buns (no don't ask) otherwise I'd be down in Wimbourne like a flash.
