View Full Version : Frame sliders fitted today

My M1100 has 500 km on the clock after a ride today and after I finally got around to fitting the the crash protectors. Had a nervy moment when I removed the nut off the standard engine bolt with the bike on the side stand: undid the nut, went inside to get a mallet to knock the mounting bolt through with the frame slider bolt and when I came back out, the engine bolt had slid out and was lying on the floor! Good tight fit then :fou:. Fortunately the engine hadn't dropped (assuming that's possible).

Cheers! Tank bag's a necessary 'evil' unfortunately, need to carry stuff do a lot of long trips, don't like the weight of a backpack...

Love the black & silver look.

The sliders are nicely subtle, and even add some carbon bling.
