From Seby....
I cant believe it, when I bought the bike in October 2005, I said: "I will change only the indicators and the mirrors", but wasn't like that at all!
I started replacing the awful OEM plastic with the precious and expensive carbon, then I bought my first set of carbon cans, cheaper ones, well they were awful as well, so i replace that with a new set of termis
after on my lunatic mind i deicide to:
fit 999 front end, including radial master cylinders,
TB 4 pad calipers,
999 Tin forks
fit rear shock by ohlins.....

I love the blend between retro and modern - an overall retro look, but comprised on modern components.
Great stuff.

the side steering damper is the one who really works, the other steering damper costs a lot and don't work properly
in fact in motogp they use transversal ones ;)

The transverse ones work just fine for my purposes (and look bloody great)
I backed mine of to 1 click off 0 after fitting an Ohlins shock, later I found minor headshakes under hard acceleration out of corners, put 2 more clicks on and all is good.
new wheels on it!

One, well two words of warning for those zards.....
1. watch your right boot - I have melted the heels of 2 pairs on those buggers!
2. keep an eye on your hugger as mine has a dull gray melted bit where the pipe crosses over the top (for the left can)
i will fix a carbon plate soon
and i will cut a bit the rear hugger ;)

i know you mat have already been asked this but what is the make of the seat unit and ware did you get it ?
Its a DP unit quite rare now, if you can find one expect to fork out something in the region of £400 if you find two let me know as I want another one.....
Carbonvani in Italy is producing a perfect replica
