Can't get it up.........

Hi all,

Thought that title might get some of your interests, not naming any names......ahem.......Yan.....:ymca:

I can't get the underseat lock to open to lift the seat and re-attach my rear indicator wires which seem to have vibrated themselves loose. Have tried liberal doses of GT85 and cleaning it as much as possible as it was covered in road crap but nothing seems to be working.

Does anyone have any miracle cures or bright ideas??

Don't really know too much about freeing up the seat, my seat also have a tendency to stick. But first when you put the key into the seat lock, can you turn the key? If yes, may be pushing the seat down while turning the key may help...
