Wow, it's come round again. So soon, we were only just getting over the excitement of last years and here we are again. Those hotly contested and undoubtedly coveted Forum Awards are back!

As usual, the five categories to be voted on are as follows

Best Newcomer

Most Memorable Post/Thread

Most Helpful Member

Best Avatar

Most Inspirational Thread (could be rebuild in progress/Desmo Due race report etc etc)

The format for voting is.......pm me with your votes. Even if you are not going to the Weekender (frankly, how could you not?) then take part in it anyway. Prizes (well, when I say prizes, it's not like 2 weeks in Barbados or a 156" LCD TV, it's not even clubcard points and definitely nothing like a book token) will be awarded at the Weekender and the kudos cannot be beaten. Ever. Imagine telling your grandchildren that "you" won a UKMOC Forum Award. Forget degrees or BTecs, THIS is what you want and need on your cv. I do not know at present what the prizes will be but rest assured, you WILL want them, possibly even need them but like I said, it's not about the prizes, it's the kudos maan.

5...4...3...2...1...

VOTE!

Marvellous Jimbo. It's for all users of the forum, regardless of how long they've been here, it doesn't matter if you're not going to the weekender, it doesn't matter if you can't think of a vote for all 5 categories - get stuck in Sir.

I won an award last year, and it's meant so much to me that I've decided not to give it up. Ever. So Nonnie, no point in counting votes for best newcomer as it's not available, sorry.

Well in that case i think i should win everything simply because i have written a s2r 800 and a 696 off within a year. I have broke both legs and continue to have heed-a-balls pulling out at junctions without looking.
I have lost my job and the bank wont let me use the payment protection on my loans so all in all i could do with a bit of luck. ;(
And you wouldnt believe it, this post is number 13 ;(

If anything i should get a bad luck award lol

Help me, I am being held hostage until the voting increases to a level where votes can actually be counted on more than two hands.

Get me out of here.

I agree - joke of the year, and no mistake...

(although I did like Fatbloke's more recent "I remember when it was just a field...")

That's what we need, more nominations.

Many of us are over 40 and have the memory of a goldfish.

..it also means we get to relive the highlights.

48 hours to go then I will start the laborious task of returning all votes. I will probably be up all Thursday night doing this. I might even do a "swingometer" and you can have your favourite UKMOC members that you hope are going to win in different colours in different parts of the country. How cool would that be? But yet again, sadly, my confidence and ideas completely outweigh my ability to actually do that.

Still, you will have the very glamorous and beautiful Mand to read out the winners and present the prizes at the weekender. It doesn't get better than that!

So, last 48 hours then. Inundate my box whydoncha?
