Has anyone fitted a GPS unit to their Monster? (I'm sure you have !!)
I am looking for a very neat way to plug/unplug the unit (attach/take off the bike).
On my GS I have an auxiliary power socket fitted into the fairing (just like a car cigarette lighter). This is great as you can remove the GPS and wiring when you don't want to use it.
Any ideas ??

I used a spare handlebar clamp and mounted it in front of the rev counter and took the power feed off the side light in the head light bowl (added an in-line connector so it can me removed)

I've got a similar socket to Pedro but I connected it to my battery charger socket, which saves breaking into the wiring. Only need to unplug it when charging.
