I'm having problems sourcing the Banjo bolts that fasten the oil pipes to the engine/carb kit.
I want to replace them with stainless ones.
I've searched the forum and evil-bay (doesn't recognise banjo bolts), to no avail.
The usual shop offerings from members in the forum search either don't stock them, or the web-shop is now kaput, comes up blank.
Any help please.

I'm going to order from: http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/adapters/banjobolts.html as recomended by Slob, cheers.
I'm still not too sure what size i need for the oil pipe bolts, 10x1.25mm or 10x1mm (25mm)?

if you're going to order but aren't quite sure exactly what you want, why not send them the old items first to match them up?

hi bluprintz, I've dragged myself to the garage and checked: I've mixed the original bolt with the rest that I've removed and I don't know which one is which(silly me), but in the venhill package I still have their replacement left (as,like you, I had to change for a pressure switch due to rearset)and that is 10X1. Also found the invoice from them and it shows 10X1.So pretty sure that is it.If still not sure most local bike parts shop will have one in stock.1 refers to the thread pitch, I believe, not lenght as some early Suzuki and some Honda have what they refer to coarse metric (just to make matter more complex)Ducatis are all fine metric. Hope this helps. If still in doubt call venhill, always been very helpful with me when I had to check for hose lenght due to the clip ons etc.

Cheers Pomp - Rockjock.

It's with being used to big Jap bikes for 20 odd years, you knew where you were with them, the main fasteners were mostly 10mm or 12mm, i don't have a clue what half the bolt/nut sizes are on the monster, or mine at least!!
I might PM Slob later on, if anyone knows, he will.
I've been at the workshop today, cleaning a few things, i'll post some pics later, on the "Tart-up pt1" thread i started when i began the strip.
Thanks again for the help/advice lads.
