I R :julie: #437
got back home today and backed the bike onto the drive so i can reverse it straight into the garage. now there's a bit of a slope on the tarmac down to my garage...
i wrestled with my broken up-and-over door with no spring and that requires propping to stay open and turned round to see the bike sliding backwards towards me!
HOLY :cens:!
and then it stopped. i'd left it on the side stand with full left lock and it had just slid on the wet tarmac, turned itself exactly 90 degrees and parked itself neatly behind the four wheeled Ford thing - having drawn a perfect quarter circle on the ground with the stand foot.
amazing and more than a little heart stopping.
will be parking rather less than parallel with the fall of the slope in future. :dunce:
lucky or what?
