what's better? I'm not a lover of tank protectors stomp (http://www.stompdesign.com/stompgrip/street_ducati.asp) orinvisible film (http://www.invisiblefilm.co.uk/acatalog/ducati.html) ? I would go for the film but I can't work out if it covers the legs and jewels area or just the front/upper side of the tank. Any experience? Also, would they fade and turn yellowish?

I have seen the film cut to cover most of the tank and I had to look closely to see it at all. So if you want the least visible, then go for the film... Not sure it would take the rubbing from a zip area of a jacket though???

Stomp grip is not meant as a tank protector although it would have the effect of protecting the tank where it's applied. It's purpose is to give the rider grip at the inside of the leg when corenring hard. I've got it on my track bike and it works well. I wouldn't put it on a road bike though as it's a bit unsightly.
