after 3 months the monster after lots of :cry::Furious:some:banghead:and lots of :scratch:starts to look like a bike again:yoparty:..so I've decided to start share with you the effort...praises accepted:woot:
strip down was a nightmare

Good on you for doing it. Its much easier to put back together. Seems funny I started to take mine apart exactly one year ago last Sunday. I miss not doing things in the evenings. Be careful of that little mini. Looks a good one.

Keep posting progress for us to enjoy.

then was time to paint the bugger,the engine was rebuilt,sandblasted and repainted by my mechanic,so unfortunately got no picture of that

now is almost back together,new venhill brake/clutch lines,916 serie oro masters and cnc slave cylinder

and clutch plates needed a good look at, cnc vented pressure plate and new cover,well,not that it covers much,anyway..,does look pretty good when everything falls into place.

Coming together nicely Pomp, well done mate.
I had a trip to the powdercoaters yesterday, to have a look at some of their work.
All being well, i should have some pics up of my re-build within the next few weeks.

they sell the dash,also the cable converter that fits ducati http://acewell-meter.co.uk/en_uk/motorcycle/index.htm
I've got mine for about 60 quid second hand off e-bay. there's always some around.

Looking good - well done. Just the though of dismantling a bike & rebuilding it from scratch gives me cold sweats! Maybe I should do some evening classes in motorcycle mechanics!

just hope i can remember what goes where :on: (not got a manual)

Quick update! the tail has now been chopped, all is working fine and the bike is at the mechanic workshop for the MOT and a couple of things for which I didn't have the right tools..all good!!!looking forward for the first ride since december, altought the forecast for the rest of the week is rain,rain and more rain!
