For sale 2001 S4

Hi

I have a Ducati S4 which I am going to have to reluctantly sell.

It is 2001 and has 5,000 miles on the clock.

The reason that I have to sell is that I have just had the dealer check the bike out as it wasn't running and he said that it had the following problems:-

Needs new fuel tank as it has split.
There is a problem with the starter motor.

This bike was used only a couple of times over the last few years and has sat in the shed.

The bike has lots of extras:-

Sil Moto High Level Pipes
Powercomander
Top yoke conversion from S4R (nice riding position)

Open to sensible offers. May be willing to break if no interest.

I will post pictures if there is any interest.

Note that we live in Guernsey, Channel Islands (hence low mileage). I would be happy to arrange shipping to a port (Weymouth, Poole, Portsmouth).

Hi, how many years is "a few", was the shed a dry one , is there much corrosion evident, are the calipers siezed at all, I assume it will require tyres and cam belts, have you got all the keys and documents, who pays to ship it into a UK port.

Hi Bob

When I say a few, I mean the bike was used two or three times last year (in good weather) and then put back in shed. There is the usual corrosion expected with a bike of this age but nothing major. Brakes (incl Callipers), tyres and cam belt are all fine. It had a brand new clutch less than 100 miles ago.

I have all keys (including red one) and documents. Who pays to ship it would depend on price etc.

Sorry last message wasnt very clear. how much were you thinking of paying for the yokes or the power commander? trying to decide if I can get more for the bike as a whole or in bits.
